Statement of the Moment
Outfit #1: Play with Minimalism
I'm quite a fan of classic school girl skirts. Out of the many that I own, this has to be my favorite. Even though the light grey gridded design is so simple, it's perfect for giving those all black outfits a sophistic touch of playfulness.
Another key item that needs to be highlighted is this denim jacket. A classic that has shown on my site before, this jacket gives that little dainty skirt a heavier edge. It coats the all black look and adds that contrast you're looking for.

Outfit #2: Make it Fem.
Let's talk about this lace and leather combination. When wearing all black, the problem of looking too harsh may come to the surface. To avoid this, try adding an element of feminity. I decided that this lacey top would be the perfect option.
If crop tops aren't your thing, don't worry; there's still another option for you. You can incorperate the idea of giving all the black a break and showing some skin, by wearing ripped denim.
Just another tip: when it comes to wearing all black add a another break from the darkness by showing a little skin. This way, you won't end up looking like one long black log. It'll add some shape to your figure.
It should come as to no surprise that I'm a fan of the color black. You can take a peak through my closet and I'm sure you'll understand. With saying that, it's important to add other elements into an edgy all black look so you don't end up looking like a storm cloud. Here are a few suggestions:
