Honestly, if you're looking for quality makeup but you're not into splurging, there is no need to fear.
L'oreal is one of my personal favorites, trust me; I've tried almost every one of their products.
So let's talk about my favorites.
True Match Lumi Foundation: If you're skin is more so on the dry side, this will be the perfect foundation for you. It gives a nice dewy glow but doesn't make you look like a grease ball. If you do have oily skin, powder your face down with a face powder for a more matte finish after applying.(pro tip: apply the powder AFTER you're done applying all the other liquid products to your face.) And yes, it stays on all day.
True Match Concealer(Original and Blendable Crayon): I've tried the original concealers as the blendable crayon ones. If you buy the original bottled ones a few shades lighter than your skin tone, they're great to be used as highlighters for the highest points of your face (cheekbones, bridge of your nose and center of the forehead.) It's best to use these ones as as highlighters because they can be distributed on the face easier. They move around better on the face and will blend in easily to create a dewy glow. The pencil concealers are good to use for concentrating on problematic areas; acne scars, pimples etc. The product is thicker and has a creamy consistency instead of ‘liquidy’. They will stay 'put' and stick in one area.
Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara: You don't understand how amazing this mascara is. And I'm not just saying that. I have used higher end mascaras before (including Benefit, Bareminerals, Lorac, Makeup Forever, Smashbox...) Yet, this one is still my favorite. If you're looking for a mascara that focuses on length this one will be the perfect fit for you. I personally prefer lengthening mascaras over thickening because with the illusion of elongated lashes, you'll appear to look more awake and alive.
Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer: This primer is a grand choice if your skin is normal to dry. It gives you a nice dewy under base so when you put your makeup on top, it'll look like you're glowing from within. If you have skin that's normal to oily apply it sparingly and after you're done putting on the rest of your cream products set everything with face powder.
Infallible 24 HR Eyeshadows:To me, the most important aspect of an eye shadow is how pigmented it is. It's all about the color quality and how it transfers from the palette to the brush to the lid. Something that I want to focus on, are the shimmers from this collection. The pigment on these is incredible. The color pops and will be noted in your overall look. Pro Tip: If you really want to go for a metallic sheen on the eyeshadow, swatch some shadow up with your brush then spritz it with some water. This will make the shadow appear even more pigmented and have more sheen.
So the next time you run out of a general makeup product, take it as a chance to swap it out with a new try; L'oreal. I swear it's trust worthy and it won't burn a hole in your pocket.
